Master of Arts in Teaching (for Aspiring Teachers Grades 5-12)

Master of Science in Education - Educational Leadership

Study how to improve the school environment for students, teachers, and the community; enhance student learning; and follow nationally recognized standards developed by the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) and the NCATE/Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC). Examine best practices for educational leadership in the areas of school finance and operations, legal issues in education, curriculum development for school improvement, and supervision and staff development. In addition, focus on the special needs, diversity, and cultural concerns that face site-based administrators.

Master of Science in Education in Instructional Technology

Kaplan University's Master of Science in Education in Instructional Technology focuses on the design, development, and evaluation of instructional programs, materials, and media in K-12, higher education, and corporate and military environments. The program's core courses teach design and development skills in the areas of technology, pedagogy, and management principles and practices. In addition to the core courses, you can choose one of two specialization areas: K-12 or adult learning. The adult learning specialization is further divided into two sub-specializations that address higher education institutions and organizations such as corporate, nonprofit, and military training environments, where the learning contexts are significantly different.

MSE in Instructional Technology (K-12)

Focus on the design and development of new curricula to meet the demands of a changing society, new technologies, and the needs of new generations of students in public and private educational institutions.

MSE in Instructional Technology - Adult Learning/Higher Ed

Study the design and practice of effective online curriculum, as well as multimedia development and implementation, to prepare to meet the demand for instructional designers, instructional technologists, and media developers in higher education.**

MSE in Instructional Technology - Adult Learning/Organizations

Review design and development models, technology, pedagogy, and management principles and practices used in instructional design in corporations, the military, and nonprofit training environments.

Master of Science in Higher Education
