Child Care Education – Specialized Associate Degree (18 Months)

If you love children, then this is the program for you. You'll learn everything you need to better understand how children grow and develop and what's important for their health, nutrition and safety. You'll learn different teaching methods, the way families function and how to work well with children who have special needs. You'll also develop skills in child care management, guidance and discipline, and career development.

After completing this program, you'll have the skills to work as an assistant group supervisor in a day care center, as a paraprofessional teacher's aide in the public school system or as a professional nanny providing in-home care for children.
