Rather than juggle three classes concurrently each quarter the way full-time students at traditional institutions do, Brown Mackie students focus on one course at a time. Each class is offered at an accelerated pace, lasting one month long. No switching gears between different subjects; no pulling all-nighters to study for three or four final exams at once. At the end of each month, you have another set of credits under your belt and you're ready to move on to the next course.

You can start taking classes as soon as you're ready.

Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education

The Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education degree program helps students develop their professional skill set in the areas of growth and development, guidance and assessment, and health, safety and nutrition. Approved by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), this program prepares graduates for a variety of entry-level positions in nursery schools, early intervention settings, school-age programs and group-care homes.
