A 30-credit CAGS is offered in Advanced Educational Leadership to
professional educators who are pursuing upper-level school
administrator positions.
This program has been designed to offer high-quality,
cost-effective and innovative curricula delivered through an
online, internet format.
Applications for admission are accepted six times annually.
Students in the Master of Science in Education and CAGS program
may qualify for federal financial aid and/or private student
loans. This means that you can concentrate on your education now
without having to pay out-of-pocket.

Designed for the educator who is looking for a comprehensive
education in a broad range of practices, the Curriculum &
Instruction Strategies concentration is a synthesis of
educational leadership, inclusion practice and literacy training.
This concentration builds skills to implement solutions in and
beyond the classroom. The program offers you the opportunity to
study, reflect, and improve professional practice based on the
most recent educational research related to instructional and
leadership strategies. Upon graduation you will have acquired a
broad skill set with which to grow and expand your professional
opportunities.
Energize Collaborative Minds – MSEd in Educational
Leadership, 30 credits
Teaching isn't the only part of being a good educator.
Collaboration is another big part of developing yourself as well
as those around you. University of New England's Educational
Leadership concentration will provide you with expertise in
cultivating dialogue and managing the educational system that
will lead to a more positive environment in your school, your
district and your field.
Embrace Every Mind – MSEd in Inclusion Education, 30
credits
Teachers, parents and student often ask, what is Inclusion
Education? Inclusion Education is the process of teaching both
standard students and special needs students together in the same
classroom through the use of assistive technologies and unique
instructional methods. The University of New England's Master of
Science in Education (MSEd) in Inclusion Education provides K-12
classroom teachers and administrators critical theory and
practice related to special education inclusion. This program
offers you the opportunity to study, reflect, and improve
professional practice based on the most recent educational
research related to instructional and leadership strategies.
Through this program, your classroom will become a safe haven for
all students where the opportunity for growth and development has

Educate Big Minds – MSEd in Literacy (K-12), 30
credits
Literacy is perhaps the greatest skill a teacher can instill in a
student. Comprehensive reading and writing skills are integral
not only to the academic success of your students, but to their
success in life. University of New England's Literacy
concentration emphasizes the importance of advancing reading and
writing talent from kindergarten through graduation and provides
you with the tools you will need to cultivate the desire for
students to independently advance these talents.

The 15-credit Graduate Certificates are ideal for those
professional educators who need additional college credit to
qualify for the next pay grade or would like to expand their
knowledge.

literacy and inclusion with a course on educational leadership
