Master of Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction

The AIU Online Master of Education degree program provides a solid foundation for effective educational practice and career advancement for all levels of educational practitioners, including K-12, higher education and corporate learning. Students develop a solid foundation in learning theory, instructional design and application of educational research methods.

Students pursuing the concentration in curriculum and instruction will learn to design and implement assessments of student performance, provide feedback to students to enhance learning and utilize appropriate techniques to motivate and engage learners. Also covered is the use of multiple instructional strategies to present content, in order to address differences in students' learning styles and abilities.

Master of Education (MEd) in Educational Assessment and Evaluation

The AIU Online Master of Education degree program features a concentration in educational assessment and evaluation. It is a career-focused curriculum featuring an emphasis on the importance of evaluation systems and their effective organizational deployment.

The program is designed for dedicated professionals wishing to build their credentials by learning to assess an organization's existing evaluation system, recognize and critique valid evaluation instruments and manage an organization's evaluation system, including the development of certification programs.
