program is designed for the working professional associated
with adult learning, training, or staff development in

The Master of Arts in Education in Educational Leadership
Program prepares educational leaders to improve policies and
practices within organizations. The curriculum, geared to
increase students' understanding of educational organizations,
includes educational law, educational finance, organizational
communication, human resource management, supervision of
instruction, and organizational management.

Education

The Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) in Instructional

critical thinking, team-building and computer technology

Master of Arts (MA) in School Psychology
The Master of Arts (MA) in School Psychology program is
dedicated to producing ethical, responsible and competent
school psychologists who are able to function effectively in a
number of professional roles. During their graduate training,
students develop core competencies in psychological assessment,
intervention, consultation/education, as well as cultural and
individual diversity. Graduates of the program may be eligible
for Department of Education certification and will be prepared
to be employed as school psychologists. The program is designed
to prepare students to become nationally certified school
psychologists in accordance with criteria developed by the
National Association of School Psychologists. Currently, the
Master of Arts in School Psychology is only offered at Argosy
University/Hawai'i, Argosy University/Phoenix and Argosy
University/Sarasota.
Education Specialist (EdS) in Advanced Educational
Administration
Argosy University offers an
Education Specialist (EdS) degree in Advanced Educational
Administration designed to prepare you to serve as a school
administrator in an advanced position. The program is designed
for practicing educators who have already completed a
graduate-level program from a regionally accredited institution
and currently hold principal or initial administrative
licensure.
Education Specialist (EdS) in Educational Leadership
The Education Specialist in Educational Leadership program
concentrates on applied organizational theory within the
context of educational organizations. This specialized program
prepares graduates for educational administrator positions at
the elementary or secondary school level. Programs have been
developed by faculty members to provide working professionals
with the opportunity to pursue their personal and professional
goals through the completion of an Education Specialist (EdS)
program.
Education Specialist (EdS) in Initial Educational
Administration
Argosy University offers an Education Specialist (EdS) degree
in Initial Educational Administration designed to prepare you
to become a school principal and/or building-level
administrator. The program is designed for practicing educators
who have already completed a graduate-level program from a
regionally accredited institution or an appropriately certified
foreign institution, and seeking administrative licensure at
the initial or K-12 level.
Education Specialist (EdS) in Instructional Leadership
The Education Specialist in Instructional Leadership program
enables experienced teachers to become more competent
practitioners and educational leaders with instruction as their
focus. This program is designed for either career advancement
or graduate preparation for students who are already working
toward a doctorate. Students may choose an optional
concentration in K-12 Education. Programs have been developed

Doctor of Education (EdD) in Advanced Educational
Administration
The purpose of the Doctor of Education (EdD) in Advanced
Educational Administration program at Argosy University,
Phoenix is to prepare individuals to serve as school
administrators in advanced positions. This Educational
Administration program is designed for practicing educators who
have already completed a graduate-level program from a
regionally accredited institution and currently hold principal
or initial administrative licensure. The EdD in Advanced
Educational Administration is a terminal degree which includes
a specific writing, research, and dissertation sequence.
Doctor of Education (EdD) in Community College Executive
Leadership
The Doctor of Education in Community College Executive
Leadership (EdD in CCExL) is designed to help community college
administrators move into senior administrative positions in
community colleges. It's a program built on real-world
experience, developed by faculty members in consultation with
top Community College leaders and senior level administrators.
Many of the courses were developed by chancellors, presidents
and other senior community college leaders with decades of
real-world experience.
