The Rockland Graduate Campus is committed to providing professional experiences that are important aspects of programs of study of professional educators. These experiences bring the prospective teacher and specialist face-to-face with the realities of the classroom, the school and community, and also provide opportunities for participation in the study, research and analysis of contemporary problems in education.

The teacher education programs at the Rockland Graduate Campus are committed to the importance of education in contributing to an improved quality of life. Through our varied programs of professional study, we prepare teachers and specialists who have commitment and competence to help young people achieve dignity, preserve individuality, develop democratic values and find self-fulfillment. We also help our students to achieve their certification in New York State.

Adolescence Education M.S. Ed. (Grade 7-12)

The adolescence education program is geared to career changers who have a core undergraduate concentration in English, math, social science or science and desire to teach one of these subject areas in middle or high school. (33 credits).
