Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) in Educational Leadership
The Master of Arts in Education in Educational Leadership
program prepares educational leaders to improve policies and
practices within organizations. The curriculum, geared to
increase students' understanding of educational organizations,
includes educational law, educational finance, organizational
communication, human resource management, supervision of
instruction, and organizational management.
Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) in Instructional Leadership
The Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) in Instructional
Leadership program is for those students who wish to develop or
enhance classroom skills, become curriculum supervisors or
become educational leaders with instruction as their main
focus. Students develop core practical and academic skills in
analysis, oral and written communication, problem solving,
critical thinking, team-building and computer technology
through courses that examine the practical, historical,
philosophical, psychological, social, technical and theoretical
aspects of education.
Master of Arts (MA) in School Counseling
Argosy University recognizes the need to provide human services
providers with the extensive knowledge and range of skills
necessary to function effectively in their profession. Programs
have been developed by Argosy University faculty members to
enable working professional to pursue their personal and
professional goals through completion of a master's program.
The Master of Arts in School Counseling program focuses on
student preparation and professional development. The
completion of the program will permit students to request a
transcript review by the Florida Department of Education for
certification in Guidance and Counseling (grades K-12) in the
state of Florida.
Education Specialist (EdS) in Educational Leadership
The Education Specialist in Educational Leadership program
concentrates on applied organizational theory within the
context of educational organizations. This specialized program
prepares graduates for educational administrator positions at
the elementary or secondary school level. Programs have been
developed by faculty members to provide working professionals
with the opportunity to pursue their personal and professional
goals through the completion of an Education Specialist (EdS)
program.
Education Specialist (EdS) in Instructional Leadership
The Education Specialist in Instructional Leadership program
enables experienced teachers to become more competent
practitioners and educational leaders with instruction as their
focus. This program is designed for either career advancement
or graduate preparation for students who are already working
toward a doctorate. Students may choose an optional
concentration in K-12 Education. Programs have been developed
by faculty members to provide working professionals with the
opportunity to pursue their personal and professional goals
through the completion of an Education Specialist (EdS)
program.
Doctor of Education (EdD) in Community College Executive
Leadership
The Doctor of Education in Community College Executive
Leadership (EdD in CCExL) is designed to help community college
administrators move into senior administrative positions in
community colleges. It's a program built on real-world
experience, developed by faculty members in consultation with
top community college leaders and senior level administrators.
Many of the courses were developed by chancellors, presidents
and other senior community college leaders with decades of
real-world experience.
Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership
The Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership program
is for those students preparing for or advancing their careers
as educational leaders in professional positions as school
district, regional, state or national administrators. The EdD
in Educational Leadership program requires concentrations in
higher education administration or K-12 education.
Doctor of Education (EdD) in Instructional Leadership
The EdD in Instructional Leadership program is for those
students who wish to master teaching methodologies, become
curriculum supervisors or become educational leaders with
curriculum and instruction as their main focus. Students must
choose one of the following areas of concentration: higher
education, K-12 education and education technology. Not all
concentrations are available at all campuses.
